SMS Breeding Phantom
Built for Strength and Stability
The SMS Breeding Phantom features two heavy-duty steel legs designed to withstand even the most aggressive stallions. During training, stallions may attempt to climb completely over the mount, putting their full weight on it. Rest assured, our breeding phantom has two sturdy legs positioned toward the back, with two solid connecting points to the phantom body. This design ensures maximum stability.
By placing the legs toward the rear, we evenly distribute the stallion’s weight over both legs, providing optimal balance. Plus, the legs are positioned under the phantom — not towards the front — to prevent any risk of the stallion tripping or falling if he attempts to move around the front during training.

Designed for your Stallion’s Comfort
Our unique side cutout design allows for easier positioning of the AV, ensuring the stallion remains comfortably behind the breeding phantom. Without this cutout, stallions often twist their back to reach the AV or try to climb up the side, which can cause unnecessary stress.
In addition, we’ve incorporated what we call the “Comfort Cut” — a second cutout where the stallion’s belly naturally rests. This feature was added purely with the stallion’s comfort in mind. After all, he’s our real customer, and his comfort is just as important as the results we aim to achieve!
Replacement Cover
Replacement Cover for the SMS Breeding Phantom
Our replacement cover is made specifically for the SMS Breeding Phantom. This material does not stretch, so will not fit on homemade phantoms or mounts built elsewhere. If you are unsure if you have an SMS Breeding Phantom, just email us some pictures, and we will let you know.

Our extra mounting legs are designed for added flexibility. Whether you want to install your phantom at two separate locations or need a solution for when you’ve moved and can’t remove the original legs, these extras are the perfect solution.
Each set comes with an Installation Kit for easy setup.
