with all their shipped semen needs.
In December of 1997 we built our first phantom. It wasn't exactly a pretty site. It probably looked like a lot of homemade breeding phantoms out there. After it's initial test run it had to be taken back to the shop to do some modifications. We made 9 more phantoms between Dec. 1997 and March 2000 for local horse breeders. Each one improving on the prior one. We made them too short, too fat, too soft, too hard. You name it, we did it. We have to thank the invaluable input from Dr. Mennick at Pacific International Genetics. He was instrumental in the designing of the current SMS Breeding PhantomTM.
Then in August of 2000 we sold our first SMS Breeding PhantomTM . From then on we have sold phantoms all over the United States, Canada, and Europe.
Many of our minor but important improvements since 2000 have been through the feedback of our customers. We would also like to thank them for their insights.
